This blog looks fantastic! As a fellow Expat (I'm in London), I look forward to reading about your adjustment in Rome. Good luck!

Your photos are gorgeous...I think some stock photography sales might be part of your trip there! I've found that when in a place not like your own (my experience lies mostly in Canada, not at all similar but kinda sorta to Italy, if that makes any sense) your genuine kindness and sincerity can show thru. If you are a "stupid American" going around like an ass, then people will loathe you and have no interest in helping. If you are sweet and good and just ask for help, it's amazing the depths of human compassion. In reality we all want people to succeed.

These are such amazing pictures. I'm sure in person it's even more stunning! I hope this experience is one that is not only memorable, but incredibly rewarding. (But, I think by the nature of Italy alone, it would be impossible to be unmemorable and unrewarding).

These are such beautiful photos! I'm glad that so far your experience with Roma is positive, even if it's a bit difficult to acclimate to the environment at first. :)
